Hayes Construction Company Celebrates 60 Years in Business
In 1964, Christian Hayes started a residential remodeling business. Over the past 60 years the company has grown to become a major provider of residential, commercial, and industrial construction services in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Christian’s son, William Hayes, has been the President and CEO since 2009. It has always been the commitment of both father and son to operate the company under the principles of honesty, hard work, and integrity.
In 2017, Christian passed away due to cancer. His legacy lives on through his son William and through his grandson Cody, who is a Project Manager for the company. The entire Hayes family has been involved in the business in some way during their 60 years in operation. Many of Christian’s children have worked in some capacity over the years, many of his grandchildren have held positions at some point, and his wife Ella still comes to the office to visit her son and grandson and enjoys being a part of the lives of the employees at the company that she and her husband started so many years ago.
Over the 60 years since Hayes Construction Company began operating, it has served countless residential customers, many local businesses, county governments, state and community colleges, insurance companies, churches, financial institutions, defense contractors, pharmaceutical companies, and so many more. Some of the residential services provided over the years are new home builds, home remodeling, new and remodeled kitchens, new and remodeled bathrooms, decks, additions, exterior renovations, design/build services, insurance repairs due to losses, mitigation services, mold remediation, and so much more. Hayes Construction Company has also worked in commercial and industrial construction and provided services such as flooring, painting, electrical, HVAC, lighting, ceiling, storefront windows and doors, renovations to laboratories, classrooms, bathrooms, dormitories, dining halls, kitchens, interior decorating, landscaping, parking lot construction, and much more.
Hayes Construction Company has never failed to complete a project in 60 years. We have an extensive list of satisfied customers that continue to utilize our services year after year. Many of our customers have referred other customers because of the quality of their experience with us. Hayes Construction Company has many employees who have been with the company for more than 15 years. There is a family atmosphere among the employees because each one is treated as if they were a part of the Hayes family.
